What is the difference between a flamenco dress and a Sevillana dress?
In everyday use they overlap. Strictly, the traje de flamenca or traje de gitana is the fitted, ruffled dress worn at the Seville April Fair, while a flamenco dance skirt is cut with more volume and less structure so it moves with the choreography. If you are dancing rather than attending, look for the fuller skirts.
What accessories do I need to complete the look?
Three things do most of the work: a peineta (the decorative hair comb), a large flower pinned above the ear, and hoop earrings. Add a fringed shawl and a fan if you want the full effect. All of them are in this collection.
